Tomopop Exclusive: Yotoy's PRTC up close and personal

Our first glimpse of Norio Fujikawa's beautiful designs was in March of 2010, and I was entranced with them from the word go. They were only concepts at this stage, but being the good investigator I am, I hunted down the artist and grilled him about, well, anything he was willing to divulge about these fascinating characters. Our interview is here, if you missed it.

By that time, Yotoy had been formed, Fujikawa's brand new toy company, and we got the news that these remarkable robots could soon be purchased by collectors. While the pre-orders for the PRTC (R) 5R are soon to open, we got lucky and got an early sample of this run. There are only 300 of these being made, so we felt very lucky indeed!
