Tomopop Exclusive: Graphix Chick's Radiation Girl custom

First revealed piece for Apologies to Banksy's Vinyl Haze show; will be at WonderCon

As we reported on before, Apologies to Banksy is curating a show later this year featuring customs of their Rude Copper and Bomb Hugger figures. The first one revealed is from The Graphix Chick, with her Bomb Hugger custom called Radiation Girl. Given a magenta/seafoam green/black color pattern, Graphix Chick says the blindfolded girl hugging the atomic bomb is meant to symbolize how people don't know they're being exposed to "modern day physical and mental pollutants such as side effects of prescriptions drugs, misleading advertisements, the media and so on." That's a lot of message in a little figure.

You know what? Turns out my gut feeling when I reviewed the blank Bomb Hugger was right: with a bit of paint on them and some other work, the details do pop out a little more and some of the other issues (those shoulder seams in particular) disappear. Radiation Girl will be making a stop before Vinyl Haze at DeKorner's WonderCon booth (#1179), where you'll also be able to find the regular Apologies of Banksy figures on sale.
