Tomopop After Dark: Visio's Demon Goat photo

There's something I've always wondered about: the efficacy of high heels in battle. Watching women walk down the street in New York City attests to that. Many a times I've seen heels break with missteps on gutters, or women finally giving up and carrying their shoes because the train leaves in five minutes and they still have three blocks to go.

Normally, I'd just accept it as a fallacy of fanservice within storytelling, but as luck would have it, I got a chance to ask someone about it. Of course, it started off with my night getting turned-flipped upside down, all while I was sitting around reading some Gunslinger Girl.

After reading through several volumes of Higurashi, I needed to take my mind off of creepy murderous little girls and go for some more actiony murderous little girls instead. Well, I suppose my support of all that killing must've kicked up something down in the underworld, because after not too long, I started to smell brimstone.

Well, I wasn't too worried: there was nothing in the house that I had on that could possibly burn the place down, so it must've simply been a demon or some such trying to break in. Once I finished the chapter I was reading, I picked up my magical pickaxe, because there's nothing better for bustin' ghosts and demons in your own home.

As I made my way down the stairs, I heard noises coming from the kitchen. Great, a hungry thief. The easiest kind to take down, while they have a sausage stuck in their throat. I popped into the kitchen non-chalantly, to be greeted by a rather explicit backside. She was rather...engorged down there, and so I knew something was up.

"Oh, it's you, Demon Goat."

She turned around, with a smile on her face that just made my eyes roll. She had a favor to ask, I could tell: I've seen that look on Revy and Eda before. The only difference is that Goat here had a much creepier looking face.

"Hey Brad, how're you doing? Look, I was just in the neighborhood, and --"

"Decided you'd raid my fridge?"

"Yeah, look, I'm sorry about that." Apparently not sorry enough to continue snacking from my fridge. Now I'd have to make more cupcakes."Anyways, would you mind if I stayed over tonight? The trains have stopped running, and so I can't really get home."

"And you're hiding from someone."

"And I'm hiding from someone," she admitted. "So, please, won't you let me stay tonight?" She used those freakishly large and pouty eyes of hers. I hemmed and hawed, just to make her sweat a bit. Despite her cool exterior, and her willingness to dress in such a manner as she's in, she doesn't really know how to handle her blades. She really can be useless sometimes.

"Alright, but it's not going to be free." I wasn't expecting that, but hey, I'm single. And I found out later that she just wanted to see me. How sweet, right? If only more girls would break into my house, eat my food, and then ask to spend the night with me and not steal my wallet and car come morning.

I'm a good guy. I'm more than happy for some pillow talk. So, I took this as an opportunity to ask, "Why is it that you're always wearing high heels? They don't seem all that comfortable." She smiled at me and kissed me on the forehead.

"You're cute, you know that?" She sighed and lit up a cigarette. I glared at her and she realized, putting it out. "Sorry, bad habit. I know, I know, I should quit already." She put it out in the palm of her hand, then drops the ashes and cigarette behind the bed. Great. "The truth is, I can't take them off. They've always been there, ever since I became a demon. So I've just gotten used to walking in a different manner since I became one."

"You don't mind it too much?"

"No, not really. I mean, doesn't it turn you on? I thought guys really liked it when girls wear high heels? Aren't they sexy?"

"Well, sure, they can be," I said, smiling. I gave her a kiss on the forehead, which made her blush and look a lot cuter than normal. "It's just that when you have them on all the time, you get dirt all over the place, even here in the bed."

MOAR Tomopop After Dark:

Legacy Comments

Fact: Brad actually writes slash fan-fictions in his spare time.
/rant on:

As an experianced martial artist I can tell you that any footwear that raises your heel or foot more than a few mm above the ground (so that includes trainers or sneakers - I run with specialised super-thin soles 1mm thick) compounds your mobility, balance, speed and feel for the gound below you. Also they damage your feet. I hate it when women wear high-heels (or even men with chunky shoes); I'd rather they take care of their health than care about a piece of footwear originally designed to fulfill male desires but is now so entrenched in society that no one questions it. /rant

Sorry guys lol. I'm a bit of a health and fitness freak

On topic: This is the weirdest thing I've read on tomopop so far!
"Oh, it's you, Demon Goat."

I lol'd.

I'd buy this if I saw it on any sites that accepted real money (ie: US DOLLAS) Sadly, I'm out of luck.
