Tomopop About Town: Dallas Vintage Toys

12:00 PM on 04.26.2011 // Colette Bennett

You never know where you're going to find a treasure trove of toys carefully hidden away. Take Dallas Vintage Toys, for example, which is hidden in a fairly simple looking office tower in Lakewood. FInd your way into its inner sanctum, however, and it's a lot lke stumbling into the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow -- for figure collectors, anyway.

Check out the gallery to see more of what Dallas Vintage Toys has to offer. As you can see they have a vast Star Wars collection that includes older and newer pieces, including the ultra rare gems you can see in the gallery such as mint on card original action figures. They also had a lovely vintage game selection, including NES games in the boxes, which I promptly scavenged and found several new items for my personal collection.

If you see anything you need, you can contact Dallas Vintage Toys via their website or follow their Twitter. You can also stalk them on Facebook and watch their videos via their YouTube channel. They buy vintage toys too, so if you're looking to unload some, this might be a good place to go!
