Tomocast 28: BOYS! photo

This one is a couple of weeks late, but it was totally worth it. I was joined by Kristina Pino, Rio McCarthy and Stella Wong to talk about a topic close to all our hearts: BOYS! Well, at least it's close to the lady's hearts. For me it's only in the general vicinity. Most joking aside, the four of us spent an 70 minutes talking about manly men, pretty boys and handsome blokes from every which angle. Otome games, yaoi and BL are discussed, though we definitely talked about some more mainstream stuff as well.

You can download the episode here, follow us on iTunes or hit the jump to give it a listen and read the show notes!

Note: There was some echo that I couldn't edit out. It won't ruin your experience, but I thought you should know ahead of time.

You could have legit used Gaga's "Boys Boys Boys" for this one. :D
Damn, lost opportunity!
Disturbing heading is disturbing.

Also, what's up with the auto-loading audiofile? You know how I *love* being blasted by blaring loud music when opening a webpage....

Grr, that's Mevio. I thought that turned that off. I'll reencode this when I get home.
Guys in suits are always best.
Yay thanks for finally posting this tomocast, I was waiting so long to hear it :D I
Figured I'd finally get around to listening to the incredibly delayed tomocast... Was disappointed that ten minutes of it was just exchange rate complaining =x Plus what was up with the feedback loop on Pedro's side? The echo was massively loud.
...I loved the English Sailor Moon =x Absolutely hated Trunks, he was a complete Mary Sue. Plus the weapons thing was hokey, given how durable the characters were portrayed as being... doubly so since I think even Goku got hit by swords in DB and they just broke on him.
Meh, figured Haruhi would click with Tamaki but that didn't stop me from rooting for Kyoya. Absolutely loved the Ouran anime, stumbled on it while checking out a AMV that basically recapped the first ep. LOL! Would've owned had she ended up with both twins.

45 minutes in so far.
Meh, read the first volume of Alice in the Country of Hearts and absolutely hated it. Was really generic for my tastes. Kinda ditto for the Sengoku Basara anime, but it be better than my initial impression because I've only seen the first ep of the second season (subbed or dubbed, can't remember which Funi had up on YT).

And wow, you guys spent about as much time answering reader questions as you did ranting about exchange rates -_-
That was a fun listen. Pretty boys aren't something I'd normally hear about, nice to get some female perspective (plus one male :) ).
