TMNT Classics Bebop & Rocksteady revealedToyArk's ever watchful forum members spotted a photo of Playmates' upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classic Bebop and Rocksteady on MTV Geek's twitter feed. Shredder's flunkies seem to tower over the four turtles and feature some incredibly beefy sculpts. While the photo doesn't provide a good look at the less than dynamic duo, my initial reaction was that the two looked rather odd. However, after scrutinizing the image, I dare say that I'm at least as enthusiastic as I was at the time of their announcement. Unlike the turtles, Bebop and Rocksteady don't seem to share any parts. The hips and knees might look similar (although even they may be different) but virtually everything else seems like original sculpting. Even their bicep muscles appear different, with Bebop's guns being heavy artillery compared to Rocksteady's. Actually, is it my imagination or are Rocksteady's biceps roughly the same size as that of the turtles'? At any rate, the sculpting on these is something brilliant and I expect their articulation to be a bit more manageable than their heroic reptile adversaries. The TMNT Classics Bebop and Rocksteady may not be what I expected, but they still wound up spectacular if this photo is any indication. So, folks, I have to ask the all-important question: Are you on Team Bebop or Team Rocksteady? Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
