Calling all chess enthusiasts! MegaHouse's Tiger & Bunny chess set is ready to fill your October slot. Originally showcased at MegaHobby Expo back on May 26, this six piece chess set includes Kotetsu T. Kaburai (King), Barnaby Brooks Jr. (Queen), Bunny (Knight), Fire Emblem (Bishop), Sky High (Rook), and Wild Tiger (Pawn). Noticeably absent from the set are the girls Blue Rose and Dragon Kid. Perhaps MegaHouse is saving them for the second volume set along with Origami Cyclone.

The bust style pieces stand at 3.5 inches tall and will either come with a black or white pedestal. I love how each of the Heroes personas are perfectly captured by MegaHouse’s sculpt. As an added bonus, placing Kotetsu's and Barnaby's pieces back to back gives you an awesome backdrop with the Justice Tower. As much as I am excited for the Collection R set, I can’t help but be a little irked at the fact that we are only getting six out of the sixteen pieces needed to complete half of a chess board.

The first volume set is listed with a retail price of ¥5,700 for a box set or ¥998 for individual pieces. Any Tomopeeps want to join me in a game of chess?
