This Sucker Punch Babydoll statue is the hot sex photo

I haven't seen Sucker Punch. I want to see Sucker Punch. My wife will not let me see Sucker Punch, or rather, she'll let me see it, but the trade-off is she's allowed to openly call me a perverted asshole for a while. So I'm not allowed to see Sucker Punch. This ban extends to the Babydoll statue coming out from Gentle Giant Ltd which pains me seeing as how this is like the exact definition of "spank bank." Oh wow, I am a perverted asshole. Sorry hon, I owe you a Coke!

Anyway, marital fidelity aside, the statue itself is one fine piece of, I think plastic? PVC? Resin? Whatever, she looks good, and for US$249.99 she damn well better. Gunjap just posted a few high-resolution pics, which is where our lovely three-piece gallery comes from. So thank you to them, and let it be known that they are to blame for my current sleeping location tonight (hint: it's not in my own bed and it's not by my own choice).

The statue is amazingly detailed, and I don't say that often. Well, except for all those times that I have, but those were just lies and fabrications. We had an understanding, okay? This time I'm for serious yo. Babydoll looks as true to life as can possibly happen, mostly due to the fact that she looks like a toy you display on your shelf anyway. Not sexist! Go watch the trailer and tell me she doesn't look like Snyder didn't just pluck her from a freaky Japanese fetish toy line! Whatever, her pre-order is sold out anyway, so we're all SOL. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a fabulous penance cake to bake.

[Pre-order at Entertainment Earth, oh wait, psych!]

MOAR toys will be the end of me:

Legacy Comments

It's sad, I haven't seen Sucker Punch yet, and respect Snyder's work to an extent (was not a huge fan of 300, yet I thought he pulled off Watchmen better than most could have, even if it was better suited for a premium cable series). BUT I preordered this statue based on principle alone the moment I could, and only had to shell out roughly 200 bones for her, including shipping. If you're willing to pre-order from Japan, expect to pay over twice the price, but some retailers are starting to take orders over there. You're right, though, I can't find any place taking pre-orders stateside, but someone feel free to prove me wrong.

Oh, and my wife calls me a perverted a-hole all the time, so it's cool.
I thought Sucker Punch was a pretty good movie, not great but good. The fantasy scenes in the movie was the best parts even though they seemed to be really short. Anyways, I actually got lucky to get a late pre-order in at entertainment earth not too long ago since some people canceled their orders after watching the movie. She will be my first 1/4 scale and for the quality and limited run, the $200-$250 price is really a steal.
oy vey, that figure is gorgeous. I don't have room for any 1/4 figures, and that price tag is a bit high for my liking (though it IS a good price considering the size). If they were to release a cheaper, smaller PVC copy I'd pick it up in a heartbeat.
Way too steep for me. I'm done paying over a hundred bucks for a figure(Battlesuit Jill is my last time).
Well if the movie had been good, I'd be on this... but I didn't really like it.

Though I have to say, it IS a good looking statue,
This might be the only good thing to actually come out of the movie. The movie itself was horrible, very lazy writing, terrible ending (it was the girl that did nothing and complained at every turn's story? What?), last decade's CG, and a complete butchering of some classic Queen songs. By the end I was wishing someone would jam an icepick into my brain too so I could forget about how bad the movie was.
In my mind, this is the best thing to do with the Sucker Punch characters.
The movie was terrible, and the style of the ladies was akin to something you'd see in anime, really, so making figures is the best thing to do. They're made for figurization.
The movie was tremendous, though I can't decide if owning statues in the girls' likenesses is reenforcing the movie's subversiveness (where objectifying women is linked with a very ugly male need to control them) or ignoring it. That said, I have my Amber preorder in...though what I'd really love would be one of her vehicles, like the bunny mech or her B-25 bomber (I think) where one engine is a propeller and the other is a jet.
Seems sold out everywhere :/ Boo! Hiss! etc. etc.

Ooh, that Amber looks nice...now if they only had Rocket...and were, say, action figures/ plastic "statues" instead
Look you made Chris sad! AND ME TOOOO ;_;
For fans within Europe that still want her, she's still in stock on preorder here:

I just placed my order. Haven't decided yet on getting the Japanese Vers. cause costum costs will be high.
