These new Fate/Zero prize figures were pretty inevitable
Just when I thought the Fate franchise could get a breather, and I wouldn't have to see a new Saber every other day, Fate/Zero comes out and ruins my hopes and dreams. Despite this, I do appreciate the aesthetic of Fate/Zero and the non Shirou Emiya-ness of its protagonists. Union Creative will be releasing a set of prize/capsule figures featuring Kiritsugu Emiya, Irisviel von Einzbern, Maiya Hisau, and (surprising no one) Saber in two outfits. While these are ostensibly pretty small, there's a decent amount of detail to them. You'll be able to get them on January 20, 2013 for ¥400 each. [Union Creative via figsoku] Did you know?
