The Shining series has more Sakuya and more hit the beach

For those who enjoy the art of Tony Taka, you can always rely on a dose of figures based on his art thanks to Sega's Shining series. ...well, until that flops some day. The latest installment for the series, Shining Blade, has hit the PlayStation Portable and we've see our heroine Sakuya by Kotobukiya as our first figure from the title.

Now Yamato wants in on the Tony Taka action by releasing a figure of... Sakuya? The company is releasing a 1/7 scale figure of this lady featured in her original outfit which is pretty much Maxima from Shining Hearts. I haven't been too thrilled by Yamato's finished quality of their figures so though the prototype of this figure is looking great, I'm worried how she'll look once painted.

For those who really loved the swimsuit series of the ladies from Shining Wind, it looks like you have a reason to rejoice as it has been revealed that even more are coming. This time the ladies from Shining Hearts are hitting the beach and a look at what to expect is shown in the latest scans. If everyone is going to be posed with their arms behind their backs, then this is going to be a lame collection. Luckily, Xiao Mei is bringing some personality which has me anxious to see the actual figure when created.
