You know, honestly something about the face and other elements bugs me and me more. Mystique is typically one of the more mature characters. In pretty much every continuity, including spin-offs, she's usually portrayed as being older and within the main continuity she's considerably older than she appears (in her natural form) due to her mutant power minimalizing the effects of aging (much in the same way regeneration slows aging in comics (as opposed to science fiction, where it's occasionally shown to speed it up >_>)).

I imagine that the face on the actual figure will probably look nicer. In most cases, the figures in this line do look slightly better than these sketches despite the figures themselves ranging on the meh scale for me.

All the same, it's a nice pose although I'd much rather have her seated on a giant skull or something.

I like the art and am sure I'll like the figure! I'm somewhat confused with the selection process though... while she has figured in a bunch of the X-Men movies, Mystique really is kind of a fringe character, (and a villain most of the time, no less).

Still, as long as the figure looks like the artwork, I'm in. :)

I sorta agree that the face doesn't quite fit with Mystique, but it doesn't bother me that much. What really bothers me is the SMG. I really hope that doesn't become a part of the final figure, because it's kinda ruining it for me.
