The mighty Stegoforest emerges from the resin jungle photo

Jesse Narens (a.k.a. Ghost & Flower) has released a new resin figure by the name of Stegoforest. Yes, it is a bit what it sounds like: a stegosaurus that has trees growing on it. The 7-inch-long by 4-inch-high piece, sculpted by Beth Graves (who also sculpted Bwana Spoons' Sloth n' Moth and upcoming Tapir) is a dino from the late Jurassic period who "had an array of coniferous plants that grew from its back and are thought to have beenused as camouflage." Stegoforest has neck and front left foot articulation, and he has a 2.5-inch long companion in the form of the Battle Damaged Acorn Warrior.

You can pick up a Stegoforest at Jesse's Etsy shop for US$65 or a Battle Damaged Acorn Warrior for US$20. You can also check out some customs from the recent Stegoforest show, currently open through the end of the month at Grass Hut Gallery (400 NW Couch St., Portland, Ore.). If you happen to like Stegoforest or the Acorn Warrior, let us know in the comments!
