The Hulk smashes into Hot Toys at Ani-Com HKIt was talked about being unveiled but we're finally getting our look at the Hulk as he'll come from Hot Toys. From the shots coming out early, there are some things that are definitely a plus here but some very big questions I still have. As for the plus, the sculpt is amazing as is expected from Hot Toys. The way that veins and even small bits of chest hair stand out on the green hued skin are better details than I expected. The scowl on his face as well as the grooves along neck are just fantastic. He's massive and the pants are made of cloth, so he's got room to move around. That brings me to what I don't like about this Hulk. While he does have visible joints, which is NOT a negative for a figure this size, I'm concerned about the lack of articulation in the elbows. I'm pretty sure though that this won't be the case for the final version, but I'm a bit surprised we don't see them here. I'm hoping that it's not a rubber suited arm because I'm scared of that deteriorating. This is just the prototype, so hopefully my fears will be averted. It looks great so far and I can only anticipate what the final product will look like. What's really scary is that this is only the beginning for the event. Who knows what else is coming from this event. [Images via Hot Toys Community] Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
