The Frozen Dead: Nazi meets zombie in the epitome of evil photo

When there is no more room in the special tenth circle of hell reserved for the Third Reich, dead nazis will walk the earth. The Zombee Toy Company has hit the toy scene with a pair of exquisitely detailed 12" figures. Both the S.S. Doom Trooper (pictured above) and the Death Corps Soldier kick off their Frozen Dead line. All I can say is that these are amazing.

In addition to the amazing sculpts, the figures feature fabric clothing that has intricate detailing, as does the large number of included accessories. Each figure is hand-crafted ensuring that no two are alike. The level of quality on display here rivals that of Hot Toys. I'm very impressed with this upstart effort. These figures are now available from Heroes Club at a price of $178 each.

This totally looks like a Nazi Zombie from the movie Dead Snow http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1278340/, which was awesome.
The tipster who sent this in referenced that film. If this figure was inspired by that film (and it does seem like it probably was), it's not officially licensed. Død snø has clearly flown under my zombie flix radar, and for that I am ashamed. That it's a Norwgian film and not even available on DVD in the states is still no excuse. Looks like it's time to pull out the region-free DVD player from storage.
It was available ondemand on my cable tv for a while under international, it was also dubbed in english, but not too bad. I'd defiantly watch it.
Ugh, not defiantly.... definitely. And looking at their other stuff, I'd own this stuff if I had the money. What's scarier than nazis? nazi zombies.
It's a very cool zombie flick. Saved it for Halloween this year and also played THE zombie Bmovie inspired board game, Last Night on Earth http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/29368. Anyway, Død snø is worth seeing and really makes me want to give these guys a shelf seat next to my Dust
Unmensch .
It hits DVD stateside in February. I suppose I can wait. But it does look wicked cool. It'll probably be a good time to watch it, though. I'll be so sick of winter and snow by then, so it will add to the atmosphere.
