A new project emerges from the creator of all my favorite foliage customs, Troy Stith. The project is called Miscreants and the first in the series is named Loopalitus. The Miscreants are one off plaques that are creations based on Troy's original sketches.
The Miscreants' story is as follows:
Some people have called them germs, while that may be true for some of these creatures, others are far worse than any disease could ever hope to be. The Miscreants are the grubby, evil, and sometimes mindless microscopic mutants lurking on everything and everyone we see or touch. Although we can't see them, it doesn't make them any less real. They're in the food we eat, on our pets, passed along with a handshake or a sneeze. No two Miscreants are alike and each one has it's own 'charm' to share with the world. Whether you want them to share with you is another story.
There is a possibility, if all goes well, that he will continue on and make resin toys based on these characters, but we'll have to see what the future holds. I, for one, definitely hope to see the resin toys one day because I'm loving this more monstrous side of Troy, and can't wait to see what Miscreant plaque comes next.
There are no release dates for these yet, but be sure to keep an eye on the Gorilla Mouth blog to see more updates and information in the near future. I know I'll be watching it like a hawk, as you never know what this guy might come up with next!
