[Update: Now available for pre-order.]

"Where's figma Link?" "Why isn't there news on figma Link?" "Who cares about this character? Give me figma Link!" You no longer have to ask these kind of questions anymore. The Max Factory figma Blog updated with a color preview of this very much anticipated poseable figure who we last saw at Wonder Festival 2012 Winter in February, 2012.

Based off the Nintendo Wii title The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, this Hylian warrior of legend stands proud in the traditional green garb we've all come to be familiar with. Equipped on his back is the sheathed Master Sword as well as the Hylian Shield if you choose. Of course you can equip each one in Link's hands to prepare Link of combat. An effects piece will also be included to give Link a swiping motion. An intense action face can accompany this swiping effect. As a first for a figma figure, Link's feet will include an additional pivot point to allow him to bend at the toes, too (figma Michael Jackson featured this - thanks stubbietubbie).

I'll admit I am disappointed that the outfit lacks any texture or color detail like the Twilight Princess version of Link but beggars can't be choosers. It's not often something like this comes along so I'll take what I can get. Max Factory's figma Link will retail for ¥3,800 and will be available in October, 2012. No word on when pre-orders will open other than the vague "near future". So now that figma Link is in color, will you be holding him above your head with joy or will you be leaving him for another adventurer?
