If you've been following Capcom lately you'll know they've been doing some kinda odd stuff with their franchises. One such oddity is taking EX Troopers, a game that for a while had been heavily advertised as a Lost Planet series spin-off, and deciding to let it run as a standalone game. Not entirely sure if the disassociation will benefit EX Troopers, but I'm sure they'll still sell a few bajillion copies or whatever. Oh, and Capcom's Senior Vice President Christian Svensson was nice enough to recently let us know they have no plans to bring the game to the west. Bwah?

So here's something a little more exciting: Exclusive merchandise at Japanese e-Capcom.com. They're offering these up in a couple of ways, though all of them require buying the game for either PS3 or 3DS. Ordering just each game alone will score a lucky buyer a set of 5 soft rubber straps. Get the deluxe sets and you'll get your choice of game, the straps, and a 1/8th scale figure of Teekee by Sentinel. Both of those deluxe sets come in at under ¥10,000 before tax which seems like a great deal for everything you get. Assuming this game eventually does find its way over here I would like to think we'll at least get the straps with pre-order.
