Figures featuring the lovely ladies of ToHeart are hardly anything new. In particular, the lovely Tamaki Kousaka is no stranger to the statue treatment, almost as popular and iconic as Ikkitousen's Kanu. By now, you'd think most collectors would be ready to yawn, but the multitudes of companies out there still manage to make every figure even more enticing than the last. Well, sometimes.
Case in point, Kaitendou will be showing off this absolutely stunning rendition of Tamaki specially for this year's Wonder Festival in July. She's made of the newer candy resin material, offering a stronger base while providing a smoother, almost translucent appearance. The effect, needless to say, is gorgeous. Combined with the rare sight of a tanned figure and Tamaki being a lovely character as is, this is easily one of the most attractive figures I've ever laid eyes on.
Unfortunately, expensive as resin is so wont to be, expect to be dropping quite a bit: She'll set you back somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 to get your hands on her, but it just might be worth it. I've only purchased one triple digit figure in my collecting history, but this very well might make two if I can get my hands on it. Oh, and, she's also castoffable, complete with tanlines, though I have to say I actually prefer the effect with the clothing left on.
