While we're busy looking over all the plamo kits on display at the 51st Shizuoka Hobby Show, Good Smile Company has made a bit of a surprise announcement there. They will be partnering with one of the top remote control car makers in the world, Tamiya, to produce a series of model car-Nendoroid Petit bundles! The three announced are Racing Miku 2012 ver. with the open-top Astute; Toaru Kagaku no Railgun's Mikoto Misaka and the appropriately partnered Thunder Shot; and Saber with the appropriately partneres Super Sabre.

The reason? Well, it's the 30th anniversary for Tamiya of their four-wheel drive RC cars. More info on these will be available in the July issue of Dengeki Hobby, which comes out next Friday, May 25. It's so odd to see two things I like kind of coming together into one, but at the same time, if it gets more folks interested in RC or model cars, I don't really mind it too much.

We saw Alphamax's one-piece dress Kirino go up for pre-orders a few weeks ago and, as is the immutable law when it comes to Oreimo, Kuroneko was sure to follow soon. Now she's here, sporting a similar dressed-down look to Kir...

Shizuoka Hobby Show: Roll out the re-colors edition

There's a fine line between milking the cow and killing the golden goose. Bandai's Premium Web Shop walks the line like a guy with a blood alcohol level of 0.08. While a few of their efforts aren't too offensive, when you sta...
