Tamashii Nation 2012: Yep, that's the Green Ranger
The news keeps on coming out of Tamashii Nation 2012, and there's yet another megaton announcement: Bandai will be doing the Green Ranger (a.k.a. the Dragon Ranger in Japan) as the next figure in their Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger S.H. Figuarts line! Posted on the Bluefin Tamashii Nations USA Facebook page with the words "No intro needed," and posed alongside the announced Red Ranger, the Green Ranger comes with the Sword of Darkness (a.k.a. Sword of Hellfriede for you Japanese sentai fans), which indicates to me that this figure may be the Green Ranger when he was a villain. No word yet on when we'll see the Green Ranger at retail or if he'll also come with the Dragon Dagger (it doesn't appear to be in the display case), but we can only hope that's the case. At the very least, looks like there's a sheath that could fit the Dagger on Green Ranger. Still, I'm excited and hopeful that the White Ranger may not be far off!
