Tamashii Features teases us with 'concepts' of one of the greatest things ever!

Mecha and Bishoujo figures provide a large amount of our coverage at Tomopop so it's not unreasonable to assume that they make up two of the great pillars which keep the hobby (and this site) up! But what if, using some witchcraft or whatnot, we were able to combine the 2? Would we not obtain one of the greatest things ever?

The concept isn't new. There's plenty of artworks out there depicting cute girls in armoured suits to make them appear like famous mecha from anime shows. Akitaka Mika was one of the first with his MS girls idea, which had girls wearing swimsuits and armour in specific areas to make them appear like various Mobile suits from the various gundam series! He's even managed to release 2 artbooks of his works so far! But aside from a couple of incredibly rare garage kits and a small number of custom kitbashes, the idea has never managed to make the move from 2D to 3D... until NOW!!

They have been on my Wonder Festival wishlist twice now but I never thought that they would be made into figures due to licensing restrictions and whatnot. So trust Katoki Hajime to prove me wrong with two "concept" figures of the wing ver Ka and GP03 ver ka MS girls!! As they are concept, there's no word on a release date or price. They may not even be released at all but if they did that, it would probably be one of the cruellest forms of torture they could do after teasing us so completely!! A release just has to happen! it MUST!!!
