Orchid Seed - 1/7 Scale

Around this time last year, Orchid Seed revealed a rather interesting take on Rosario + Vampire's Kurumu Kurono, suiting her up in a frilly maid uniform only for exceptionally naughty fans to strip her right back down again. Despite our original take, I wasn't a fan myself, finding her having fallen victim to the castoffable curse of bulky removable clothing.

Fortunately, this seems a bit rectified with the new "Wine Red" release. People say black is slimming, but in this case a nice maroon seems to have done the trick. There's still some minor issues, though that's also because Orchid Seed has a tendency to ignore original artwork in favor of enormous assets regardless of accuracy. She may be large, but not that large!

In any case, I still do enjoy the figure, especially more than the original. The bright blue hair that is my weakness always helps, as well, and it meshes nicely with the new coloring of her uniform. If you're smitten with this lovely succubus yourself, pre-orders opened a few days ago and you'll be able to pick her up in April for around ¥8,286.
