We've seen a fair many figures from the fantastic Vanillaware, especially from their breakout title Odin Sphere. However, even Muramasa's lovely lead Momohime got some attention from Alter a couple years ago, though there's been little news since then. Fortunately, that's all about to change, as Alter's stepping it up and bringing us a look at one of the game's fantastic foxes, Kongiku.

As one might expect, it looks like Vanillaware's art comes out in full force even unpainted, and she looks simply divine. It's no surprise that the foxes were my favorite characters from the game, and I'm extremely eager to see how the final product turns out! The details in particular are to be noted, especially in her lantern and the heavy texturing of her fur. You can bet we'll certainly be keeping an eye out for this one to get the finished treatment!
