Take a look at the light-up railgun for ThreeA Toys' Metal Gear Rex

Way back in 2009, we posted about ThreeA Toys' Metal Gear Rex figure and flipped out over how awesome it was gonna be. Since then ... well, we haven't heard a whole heck of a lot about it. That changed this morning when a new video was posted to the ThreeA Production Blog. It's short at only 9 seconds long, but it shows off something very cool: Metal Gear Rex's railgun, which will light up thanks to the magic of LEDs and replicate the firing pattern.

Still no word on a release or price, but man, I know I can't wait for this! Check out the actual video after the jump and check out our previous post on Metal Gear Rex for some photos of what the finished product should look like. Then ... GET EXCITED.
