BMOG adds stretch goal images to Kickstarter project photo
BMOG adds stretch goal images to Kickstarter project
by Jeremy Emerje Crocker

The BMOG Kickstarter project website updated recently with new CAD rendered images of their stretch goal sets. If the Kickstarter can reach an additional US$12,000 (for a total of US$31,000) then Featherblight and the Non-Dino team will be added to the campaign for an additional purchase.

Featherblight is a Paraxxoid eagle counterpart to the Augmentoid Ursenal figure that launched the Kickstarter. It can be disassembled into multiple weapons including swords, guns, and rocket launchers. The Non-Dino team consists of members ax Slashback the dimetrodon, ray gun Splashpoint the icthyosour, and "multi purpose" Pterattactyle the pterodactyl.

The project is down to 12 days with only US$6419 remaining before reaching its funding goal keeping it still well within sight of success.

GSC is planning to take your Nendoroids to school
by Jeremy Emerje Crocker

Thanks to a preview on Good Smile Company's New Recruits blog we're getting our first complete look at the new desk and chair set designed specifically for Nendoroids! They're squat little things and a perfect match for your favorite Nendo school girls. They seem to be designating these as Nendoroid More set 03 which will be sold after the wing set (01) and the ear set (02), but not price or date has been given.

They don't really fit figma at all, but there's a chance Max Factory might make some themselves as part of the newly announced figmaPLUS series of accessories announced in October. A preview of a street diorama can be found in the gallery.

Tomopop Review: Drew Oliver's Computer Virus Doll series photo
Tomopop Review: Drew Oliver's Computer Virus Doll series
by Natalie Kipper

Drew Oliver's creations already orbited on the quirkier side of the toy world, with GIANTmicrobes' main products being ingeniously recreated plush and vinyl germs and viruses. Their next line of products is perfectly in keeping with the spirit of GIANTmicrobes while also putting a fun new spin on the concept of "virus." Up until now, they have only been dealing with those that are passed on by humans or animals but now the company is moving on into the realm of computers. Four different "characters" - Malware, Trojan, Worm, and the original Virus - have been made into plushes and keychains and are ready to show off the cuter side to these intruders.

Let's take a look, shall we?
