SDCC 2014: Transformers display

Rounding out our Transformers coverage at Comic-Con is a gallery for their booth display. I kinda laugh when I refer to something this big as just a "booth" when there's so much on display. We've got photos of many of Hasbro'...

The Loyal Subjects rolls out Nemesis Prime figure photo
The Loyal Subjects rolls out Nemesis Prime figure
by Brian Szabelski

Concerned that your Loyal Subjects Megatron figure just isn't evil enough? Need something that truly hates both sides of the Autobot-Decepticon debate? Well, you're in luck: The Loyal Subjects have a new figure, and it's Nemesis Prime! An evil force that has taken the form of Optimus Prime (and copied all his powers), it only seeks to destroy all in its path. Hopefully, that doesn't include all the other figures on your shelves ...

Nemesis Prime is US$80 and available now from The Loyal Subjects' shop. The 8-inch figure is only a limited run of 500 figures, and it is pretty much a colorway of the original Optimus Prime figure, but might be worth it if you're a big enough Transformers fan.

Joe Ledbetter's Spaced-Out Bunny perfect for Amsterdam photo
Joe Ledbetter's Spaced-Out Bunny perfect for Amsterdam
by Brian Szabelski

There's a new Chaos Bunny from Joe Ledbetter and The Loyal Subjects releasing this weekend, and man ... is he mellowed out. Okay, he's smoking a joint, but he's Spaced-Out Bunny. It's a little bit appropriate, too, because he's being released by Dutch online designer toy retailer Mintyfresh, given the somewhat liberal laws of The Netherlands. Still, it's a fun looking piece done in Joe's usual style, and you can pick him up at Mintyfresh starting at 5 p.m. Central European Time (4 p.m. GMT, 11 a.m. Eastern, 8 a.m. Pacific) for €134.95 (about US$177). The high price is probably because he's a limited run of only 100 pieces.

Better yet, those of you in the Venice of the North will have a chance to meet Joe on Saturday. He's doing a signing from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Central European Time at Outland Store (Zeedijk 22, 1012 AZ Amsterdam) which will also be the in-store release.
