Watch your step

LEGO toys are one of those things that I think most boys and probably a lot of girls can associate with. Raise your hand if you've ever tried to dig a LEGO brick out of your mom's vacuum or know the pain of stepping on a bloc...

Check out and see how to safely display Alter's Suzuha

Nov 10 // Jon Wills
Some of us were scared off by Suzuha's yellow eyes, but those of us who stayed aboard the Steins Gate figurine wagon and waited through more and more delays should check out these photos that Alter kindly provided us. As you can see one of her feet fits into the base of her stand while the other one feathers her bicycle pedals. Alter states that the exact positioning of the bicycle and how Suzuha sits on it is crucial to the bikes long term displayability. Suzuha's elbow fits into the bicycles handlebar here. Alter included this support to prop up the bike for long term display. Once again the angles and directions provided here are important to a long display life. I have to say that her pose is very creative. It's harder to appreciate something like this in pictures but I think I can visualize how it would all come together and look in person. As you can see the bicycle has a little bike stand that can be pushed down for display of the bike by itself. I doubt that this stand will be sturdy enough to support the bike plus figure but this sort of thing is certainly a nice touch. In all I really like the way that Alter's Suzuha came together, she looks attractive, although a little freaky with those yellow eyes and her bike is one of the best 1/8th scale bikes I have seen.  Were these pictures helpful in planning on how to display your own Alter's Suzuha? let us know in the comments.
That's one sweet bike!
Emily just posted a preview gallery to Alter's Suzuha, but I wanted to go a bit more in-depth. You see, Alter's primary intent with their photos was not just to show off their figure but really to show some nice closeups as to how Suzuha should be poised on her bike for long term display. Hit the jump or check out the gallery to see more of how to assemble Alter's Suzuha Amane. Via Alter's blog

ALTER delays photo
Oh Alter, you should just add a question mark to all your release dates.
I knew things seemed a bit too quiet in Alter-land. After all, Alter wouldn't be Alter without a delay or two on a monthly basis, right? Right. They recently updated their September shipment schedule, and as you can probably ...
