As we posted before, Pobber and Jesse Hernandez are rolling out an OG ver. Jaguar Knight, and the release party? That will be Saturday, Jan. 26, at Toy Art Gallery (7571 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles). Jesse will be there for signings, and the event is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific.
As for what else is coming, on Wednesday, Jan. 30, at noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. GMT), TAG is releasing a new colorway of a collab with Secret Base, KARAKASA Tattoo Man. The black and white colorway will be on sale for US$100, and if you like Japanese mythology, you might like this piece a little bit. I know I do.
Pobber Toys have a new Jaguar Knight colorway in the works: the OG version of Jesse Hernandez's 12-inch tall warrior. Like the other colorways, he'll come with his shield and macuahuitl, and this version will be limited to ju...
Pobber Toys have given us the 411 on their next release, the Shadow Jaguar Knight. Revealed earlier in June, the 9-inch-tall piece from Jesse Hernandez is a menacing Aztec-inspired warrior. He's still carrying his macuahuitl and shield, ready to tear some fools asunder.
Limited to 85 pieces, Shadow Jaguar Knight drops Nov. 8 at noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. GMT) for US$115 on Pobber.com. That price includes free worldwide shipping, too. What say you, Tomopeeps? And remember, answering poorly may lead to a macuahuitl flying toward you.
Jesse Hernandez seems to be in demand now a days! Just after the reveal of his project with Kuso Vinyl, we now have info on a second piece, Jaguar Knight, that he's doing with Pobber Toys! The prototype of the 9-inch Jaguar K...
The one great thing about the designer toy world is that there are so many new companies out there right now doing amazing things. One of those companies that has caught my eye happens to be Pobber Toys, based in Singapore and a frequently featured maker on the front page of Tomopop. It was just last month that Pobber rolled out a new look for MAD's Mork with the first Dr. Morkenstein figure, and now they're set to release a second colorway with the Pajamas Version.
So is this new look for Dr. Morkenstein worth your time? Hit the jump to check everything out and see for yourself!
April 1 is a day normally reserved for tricks, but how about a treat instead? Art Attack Toys and Pobber Toys have released a new colorway of MAD's Mork figure, Dr. Morkenstein, featuring Mork in black with some glossy black fire accents on his helmet and a nefarious-looking mustache that curls up in the classic 1920s villain manner. He's also got the word "Beware" on the back of the helmet, and a radioactive symbol imprinted on his hands, with the word "Danger" on the cuffs.
You can pick up Dr. Morkenstein from the Art Attack Toys' shop for US$79.95. He's limited to only 50 pieces, too, so you might not want to wait around forever to get him. What do you think of this colorway, Tomopop readers?
Jake from Pobber Toys has passed along news on the next release of Doktor A's Humphrey Mooncalf figure. This time, he's got a little bit of Irish in him, with the new Leprechaun edition Humphrey Mooncalf on the way, just in t...
