Good Smile Company's Nendoroid Gilgamesh (Fate) is currently available for pre-order and, in addition to what we saw in the recent preview, will apparently also include his famous jug of wine along with a chalice.

Saber gets all the attention these days, but Good Smile Company hasn't forgotten about tsundere master Rin Tohsaka of Fate/stay night! She got a gorgeous scale figure way back in the day, but now returns as a diminutive Nendoroid.
Kahotan has put up a preview to herald the pre-order period, which starts now. You can see the variety of poses and effects pieces, but my favorite part is the embarrassed expression.
You can pre-order Rin for ¥3,900. She's set for a July release.
Sometimes our favorite characters are too good to fall off into obscurity over the years. Often they'll get a new outfit and and just continue their adventures like Sideshow's upcoming 1/6 scale Catwoman. Sometimes they trans...
When I go to a concert, usually all I come back with is a useless ticket stub and half a cup of low-quality beer that's been spilled on me - if I'm lucky. If I'm not lucky, a lot of beer has been spilled on me. Wouldn't it be nice if I could leave a concert with a Nendoroid, though?
May'n fans have such an opportunity as Good Smile Company will be selling a special Nendoroid version of the pop star. It'll be sold at concert venues along her 10th anniversary tour, making it an actually memorable piece of memorabilia. Kahotan's blog has the preview, showing off May'n's trademark accessories and some really cool box liner art. This is yet another reason to love Japan.
This Nendoroid was announced a while back for the latest Madoka Magica film. Although the film came out last October, the spoiler situation can be tricky with anime movies so I'll keep this post intentionally vague.
Nagisa Momoe is from Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion. In it she's a character who does things. The Nendoroid version also comes with things, which you can use to recreate scenes in which she did the stuff. Spoiler: she has a block of cheese. Whew, that was tough. For those of you who don't care about potential spoilers (or maybe they're non-spoilers, who knows?), you can check out Kahotan's adorable preview.
Nendoroid Nagisa will be out in June, which may or may not be an important date. The MSRP is ¥3,889 but the story significance of this price is unconfirmed. You can pre-order her now... or can you?!
Hello and welcome back to Tomopop LinkUP! This week we're doing something entirely different from the normal LinkUP. Last week we took no prisoners when reporting on Wonder Festival 2014 [Winter] which doesn't leave much for this week's LinkUP. I'm not about to let a week slip by without something to read so I think it's time to do another special. Given that a big part of LinkUP is pointing out some of the great stuff done by fans I think now is a perfect time to turn the spotlight on all of you out there.
So join me after the jump as we check out some of the reviews, videos, photo galleries, and creative stuff made by fans, for fans!
Hello and welcome back to Tomopop LinkUP! It's been a pretty busy week in all sorts of ways. We're still plowing our way through Wonder Festival coverage with the shadow of Toy Fair looming over us. But outside of that the Olympics are in full swing once again and Valentine's Day is tomorrow, probably the two best events for precious metals. Man, why is the shortest month of the year also the busiest?
This week we've got more galleries, customs, LEGO pieces, and plushies. Follow me after the jump to see it all! Incidentally, I've tried to watch Full Metal Panic twice and still haven't finished the first season...
Probably the two biggest complaints about the figma and Nendoroid lines are that there are too many Hatsune Miku variants and too many characters in school uniforms. Well look at what we have here, a figma and a Nendoroid of ...
If you're tuned in here, you just want to know what Good Smile Company and its army of subsidiaries have ready for you to start pre-ordering and drooling over. They've decided to make things a bit easier and just gone ahead a...
Kahotan has updated with two new galleries for Good Smile Company's latest Wonder Festival exclusive Nendoroids. You've already seen these, but they're certainly worth a second look, especially when they get the Kahotan photo treatment.
Nendoroid Mami Tomoe: School Uniform Ver. hasn't changed at all since we first saw her, but it never hurts to have some extra angles. She's a little above average when it comes to accessories thanks to things like the inclusion of a table, kneeling legs, lots of extra arm parts. She's the ideal figures to go with the previously released school uniform versions of Madoka and Homura. She'll be ¥4,115 if you can't get one at the show and can be bought here internationally.
On the other hand Nendoroid Snow Miku: Magical Snow Ver. is anything but average. You've seen all of the goodies she comes with, but what you probably haven't seen is the huge box she comes in that's identical to her magic book. Or for that matter the even huger decorated box it comes in to keep everything safe and sound. When a figure comes in a box so nice it needs its own box you know you're getting something good. Surprisingly, you get everything for only ¥4,629 online, that's only ¥514 more than Mami! Surely magic is at work to keep the price down, or maybe they just know they'll be able to sell a ton of them when she goes up for sale online here after the show.
I'm trying so hard to resist Miku, but every time we get a new look at her I find her even more enchanting.
Fans of Date A Live, listen up: the little Nendoroid Yoshino you might have had your eye on is open for pre-orders! Not only is she coming with her floppy-eared hood, you're getting her puppet Yoshinon as well and some pretty...
Hello and welcome back to Tomopop LinkUP! I know I've complained at least once already about the winter, but when dealing with subzero temps as often as we have this year I think it warrants some additional complaining. They say the best way to deal with the cold is to think about warm weather, but that's just something people from warm climates say.
Still, the Japanese seem to be pretty content with the warm thoughts; just look at all of the bathing suit-clad figures they've been cranking out this winter! I don't even remember the last time I went to the beach; it's been years. My parents have a pool, at least, but I only used it once last year. Man, I need to get more sun...
Anyway, this week we've got more girls in swimwear, oddball movie toys, and even some hand-knit TV toys. Follow me in to the deep end after the jump!
