Harrison Krix of Volpin Props recently shared an in-depth look into how he created his latest project, a model replica of The Planet Express from Futurama. The finished project looks phenomenal! This model looks like it came...

We got a little bit of a tip last night that Kidrobot had accidentally leaked their Futurama Series 2 line-up on their shop, but looks like they just jumped the gun a bit as the Kidrobot Blog has posted a preview today. There will be 12 figures in all, each 3 inches tall and stylized in the same fashion as the Series 1 figures.
The one thing they didn't include was an actual list of all the characters in Series 2, which we're happy to do for you right now:
Hermes Conrad (with brain slug)
Bender, Fry and Leela's respective superhero alter-egos from the season 4 episode "Less Than Hero": Super King, Captain Yesterday and Clobberella
And a Robot Mafia member
Expect to see them at kidrobot.com and your local designer collectible shop on Feb. 20, at US$9.99 each.
So here's Kidrobot's newest release: Hedonismbot! The golden, lethargic, grape-eating robot from Futurama is being made into a 6-inch vinyl figure. Yes, he comes with his grapes and is a bit expensive at US$49.99 US (&po...
Toynami's vinyl coin bank of the Futurama fan-favorite Hypnotoad is currently available for pre-order. Hypnotoad was previously on display at Toynami's SDCC booth.
Hypnotoad is the star of (fictitious) show Everybody Loves Hy...
Toynami's booth at SDCC had merchandise from Sanrio, Skelanimals, Futurama, and more. Skelanimals had their usual lineup of plushes and figures that included the Day of the Dead line and their DC line. They had a lot of thei...
Kidrobot has begun teasing its SDCC 2013 exclusives, and truth be told, it's an alright list:
The July 17 release is a set of Marvel Labbits, the Wolverine and Venom ones we saw before, perhaps as the debut release (like the Hypnotoad was last year). Frank Kozik is also signing at the booth from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On July 18, Mecha Zangief from the Kidrobot x Street Fighter line arrives, and Capcom's Yoshinori Ono will be signing at Kidrobot's booth. Yes, seriously.
Also on July 18, a new Zombie Bart Simpson is releasing at 10 a.m., and a Zoidberg figure will be on tap.
The other exclusives include something I can't really make out, and what looks like an 8-inch version of Jon Paul Kaiser's Dunny 2013 Series piece. His is the stuntman, if you forgot.
All of these will be available at booth #4945. We'll be stopping by to check things out at SDCC; anything that catches your attention?
Toynami's exhibit space at Toy Fair wasn't quite on the main floor, but that doesn't mean they had nothing to show. In fact, there's a ton of new stuff on the way, starting with a big expansion of the Street Fighter x Sanrio ...
Kidrobot has previewed the next entry in their Futurama vinyl figure series, and it's the one and only Nibbler. Standing 6 inches tall, Nibbler — dressed in his signature cape and diaper — comes with a tray of kitty litter filled with his Nibblonian dark matter poo (which you can use to fuel a starship or two). No word if he also comes with a voracious appetite ...
Want your own Nibbler? Check kidrobot.com, Kidrobot stores and the usual retailers on Sept. 20. You'll be able to pick up Nibbler there for US$50 (£40.10, €46.50). Any Futurama fans going to pick him up next week?
It's here: after a debut at San Diego Comic Con, Kidrobot's Hypnotoad has arrived and is awaiting your praise. The 4.5-inch Hypnotoad is the latest Futurama designer toy from Kidrobot and by far my favorite, especially with those hypnotic eyes of his that pulsate and change colors (using the same technology as those cool rulers from when you were in elementary school). You can buy one for US$39.95 (£31.90, €37) at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers worldwide right now.
Also new is a special run of Billy the Kid figures (US$125, 50 pieces) from Blamo Toys and Shayne Maratea. They feature a blue bandana and a carrot six-shooter in the holster, but the big news is Kidrobot says there will be a 24-inch Billy on the way in the future.
Finally, there's a new Mini Smorkin' Labbit series, with some brand new designs for the series (18 in total). Also, there's Labbits holding fried chicken. Amazing. The new mini-series releases Thursday, Aug. 9 alongside Huck Gee's Skullslinger, at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers for US$4.95 (£4.10, €4.70) per blind box.
Kidrobot's booth at SDCC reminds me a lot of last year. Not just because there's a similar layout in a similar spot with a Dunny that you can doodle on out in front of it (last year's was a Munny, if I recall right), but beca...
Our SDCC 2012 coverage continues with the company that showcased one of the most fluffiest and cuddliest displays, Toynami! The most prominent reveal was their Street Fighter Hello Kitty plushes, in which we'll be getting the...
Earlier this week, we brought you news that Kidrobot was teasing a series of new figures as its SDCC exclusives. Today, we have word from Kidrobot themselves about what exactly each of those silhouettes will be. Folks were making guesses all over the Kidrobot boards ... and most of them were right.
So what's been announced? The line up can be found after the jump! And remember that all of these will be at Kidrobot's SDCC booth, #4529!
