The DigiWorld just got more adorable with G.E.M. TK and Kari

S.H. Figuarts Alphamon slashes into pre-orders photo
S.H. Figuarts Alphamon slashes into pre-orders
by Scarecroodle

Bandai of Japan's Digimon offerings are apparently far from over, as pre-orders (through Bluefin Distribution) have opened for S.H. Figuarts Alphamon.

Alphamon apparently starred in Digital Monster X-Evolution (more commonly known as Digimon X-Evolution), the eighth Digimon film. The figure stands 17-centimeters tall (or 6.7-inches) and will apparently stand as tall as the previously released D-Arts (or S.H. Figuarts?) Omnimon/Omegamon. While I have no familiarity with the movie, it's certainly a neat design.

Bandai's S.H. Figuarts Alphamon can be pre-ordered for US$76 and is slated for a March release. However, there's still no word on a S.H. Figuarts Betamon.

Bandai gets ready to Digivolve the Digimon Digivice later this year photo
Bandai gets ready to Digivolve the Digimon Digivice later this year
by Jeremy Emerje Crocker

What goes around comes around and just like how Bandai likes to revisit the older Power Rangers every now and then the same is looking no different for Digimon Adventures. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series Bandai is going back to the original series with two new collectible Digivices. A product page on the Premium Bandai shop shows silhouettes of two Digivices that any fan of the series should recognize as representing Tai and Matt by the Crest of Courage and the Crest of Friendship.

Not a lot of information is on the page, but what we do know is these are reproductions of the original toys released in Japan, but Bandai claims they've been "super evolved" so I guess we can expect some upgraded tech inside. They're priced at ¥9,990 and will go on sale Augusts first for a December release. While information is sparse for now they're planning to give these a full reveal at an event on July 19. If we're lucky we'll see an English version show up outside of Japan, perhaps as a San Diego Comic Con exclusive in the future?
