Suit up with Saint Seiya's Aquila Yuna

3:00 PM on 11.12.2012 // Emily Smalara

Despite my guilty love for battle shounen series and mythology alike, I've never really had the opportunity to partake in the insanely popular Saint Seiya series. My knowledge of the franchise is pretty nil, consisting of "There's a hot purple-haired chick and a bunch of dudes in fabulous looking armor." It was to my surprise when I saw this cutie show up from Megahouse, then, one Aquila Yuna. Who knew there were actually female Saints?

In any case, I'm digging her look. She's certainly less armored up than most of the male characters, though it certainly seems to fit. I'm also a fan of that headgear, seeming very reminiscent of the fantastic Valkyrie Profile games. For those of you who like to mix it up, she's also rocking multiple facial expressions along with a rather creepy mask. While I don't know if I'd pick her up without actually brushing up on the source, she looks attractive enough I'd imagine fans won't have a problem dropping the ¥7,800 for her March release.
