STGCC edition of I LIKE TOYS fanzine now available online photo

While browsing for something else, I noticed that TOYSREVIL have released the latest from I LIKE TOYS in their store, the STGCC-exclusive issue for US$6.50 (plus shipping, making it $11 total). Only 30 of these are being released.

Issue one and a half features 28 pages of awesome featuring some stuff from issue #1 which has long sold out and what you may see in upcoming issue #2. As usual, you'll also get some extras such as a TOYSREVIL post card, a flyer with pictures of the newest toys for sale at STGCC and a poster with artwork by Quiccs and Anjo Bolarda

After checking out issue #1 (thanks to TOYSREVIL for sending a copy over!), I can assure you that lovers of art and art toys won't want to miss out. If you're interested in supporting the fanzine, get your copy over at TOYSREVIL today, before they're gone!

Shizuoka Hobby Show: Roll out the re-colors edition

There's a fine line between milking the cow and killing the golden goose. Bandai's Premium Web Shop walks the line like a guy with a blood alcohol level of 0.08. While a few of their efforts aren't too offensive, when you sta...

Meet Davidkraig at Kidrobot NY's May 18 customizing event

Want to come check out some live customizing and meet artist Davidkraig? If you're in New York City, you can do that on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince St., SoHo, Manhattan).  As for what he'll be working on ... I'm not too sure. But you've seen his work before, and I assume he'll be sculpting out/painting something just as impressive for the event.

There is more to plamo than just robots. In the past couple of years, Pokemon has gotten in on the plamo action. With several evolution sets already in production, there's a long way still to go before 649. They're inching ev...

Shizuoka Hobby Show: new Gundam High Grade kits

This year's Shizuoka has been my Itchy and Scratchy Land. Ready to go head over heels at all of the sights, only to be disappointed by the sameness of it all. That's not to say that there aren't gems and things to be excited ...

Shizuoka Hobby Show: Master Grade Gundam 3.0

It was just announced yesterday and I wasn't thrilled by the news. It's just what feels like Master Grade Gundam #47. There's a reason why it was made though and Bandai had to prove that today. With what looks like a 1/100 sc...

Sculptor tryouts and other tidbits from Mamitan's AMA

Martin alerted us all to Mamitan's plan to do an Ask Me Anything on Reddit. I didn't think I'd be able to make it, but Mamitan delayed it by half an hour so I was able to get in on the action. It's over now, and there was a lot of good information divulged. Mamitan said she'll return later to answer more questions, but for now you can see a summary of the thread after the jump.

A look at some of Fonzo Loves the UK's customs

As we posted before, Fonzo Loves the UK opens this Saturday, May 11 at SHO Gallery in Cardiff, Wales, U.K. The show is set to feature a ton of different takes on Freak Store's vinyl bulldog mascot, and we've been busy gathering them up to share with you. Some of these designs ... I'm absolutely in love with them already. Hit the jump to check out a wide variety of the customs on display Saturday!
