Spend your summer holiday with the magical girl Nanoha

You know, I keep forgetting that there was a time when Nanoha Takamachi from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series was actually older. With all the versions of her being pushed because of the movie, it's refreshing to see ALTER return this lady back to how she appeared in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS in more ways than one.

I'm usually too embarrassed to own ladies in swimsuits but ALTER's 1/7 scale Nanoha Takamachi -Summer holiday- figure is pushing the right buttons for me. The 240mm tall figure based on official art looks lovely with the way Nanoha is posed against the stone wall, her hair and jacket blowing in the wind, as she gives a gentle smile. I really love how ALTER was able to capture all the waving action from the art. Heck, I think they made the entire piece better looking. What I also love about this figure is the average build that Nanoha has. At least that's how it appears to me. She seems rounder and more natural than other figures which I like.

ALTER's Nanoha Takamachi -Summer holiday- figure is retailing for ¥8,800 and will be available just in time for a swim in the month of May. This is very tempting and will definitely go with my Seena swimsuit figure by Max Factory since they are the same scale. They can be hanging out together!
