I'll be upfront with you all: Ryu is my most disliked Street Fighter character. But I will be damned if SOTA Toys haven't made a Ryu that looks amazing. Or actually, two of them. SOTA's 18" tall Ryu 10th Anniversary Celebration Statue features the hadouken-spamming World Warrior in a very cool pose thanks to sculptor Marthin Agusta Simny, with those wisps of blue energy surrounding him. Oh, and did I mention there's an Evil Ryu version, too? Because there is.
And on top of it all, the base lights up, powered either via a USB cord or a regular power cord that's included. All this can be yours for only US$374.99. Yeah, it's a bit expensive, but it's an 18" resin statue with a light-up base that looks awesome, so it's not going to be cheap. You can pre-order Ryu (limited to 200 pieces) and Evil Ryu (limited to 100 pieces) right now on SOTA's website, with April 15 as the release date.
