Sideshow Collectibles reveals their Scrooge McDuck bust

I think most people would agree that Ducktales was and still actually is an awesome show, thanks in no small part to Scrooge McDuck and his giant vault of money.  So when we saw the new Scrooge polystone bust from Grand Jester Studios that's being distributed by Sideshow Collectibles, we were, needless to say, excited. Not only does it look exactly like our old buddy Scrooge down to the tiniest detail, but the base is really cool, too, with an open safe spilling out its golden contents. One can only hope this is the start of something amazing, like, I don't know, a line of Ducktales merchandise? A polystone GizmoDuck bust would certainly be awesome.

Of course, nothing good like this is ever free or mass-produced: Sideshow is making only 1500 pieces, and they're US$65 a piece, which isn't that bad, to be honest. The release date for Scrooge is sometime in the first quarter of 2010, which is right around the corner. Anyone thinking of picking one of these beauties up?
