Sideshow and Medicom have a bad motivator for you

We should never forget the heroic droid R5-D4, who went, "Pop! Fwizzz!" and stopped moving. If it weren't for his bad motivator, R2-D2 would never have gotten those Death Star plans to the Rebel Alliance. In honor of poor R5, Sideshow has partnered with Medicom to bring us this 12" scale figure.

This highly articulate figure is a part of Medicom's RAH Star Wars line, which means it can be posed just about any way a real astromech droid could. It also means that the scale is different from the regular Sideshow line. The RAH figures are slightly smaller in scale.

Featured on display at the San Diego Comic Con, R5-D4 is available for pre-order now at US$199.99. He is expected to ship by first quarter of next year. Make your order today to remember his highly convenient sacrifice!
