Show and Tell: NECA'S Bioshock 2 Big Daddy and friends!

DISCLAIMER: All of these pictures were taken the day both my friend and I got Big Daddies. These were taken at his house using his toys and bedsheets. I do not own any of these toys except for the Big Daddy in question!

I have not played Bioshock but man, I love the Big Daddy. His design is unique, he looks cool, and he has a DRILL ARM! When I heard that not only were Bioshock 2 toys coming but one of them was a Big Daddy from the original game, I knew I had to have it!

For those that don't know, these toys are very hard to find in stores.  They usually go for $60 on most web stores, but one fated trip to a ToysRUs a hour away from my house left me with finding not ONE, not two, but THREE Big Daddies for the very affordable price of $20! Suffice to say, the trip was most satisfying. 

Now did this beast of a toy live up to my very low expectations? Well, of course it did. I wouldn't be doing a proper Show and Tell of it if I thought it was bad, now would I? So, hit the jump to hear what I have to say about this awesome toy. 

You see that drill on the Big Daddies? It can spin, through the cut joint is made of PAIN AND HORROR! The articulation is everything you could want in this toy to wrists, feet, ankles and full arm articulation. It's basically all the joints you need to have the Big Daddy FIGHTING OTHER TOYS!

It seems Big Daddy hears something coming close to him. He prepares his drill to attack whomever dares to try to catch Big Daddy unaware! Also, take note of all the detail on his back, it's stunning how much they put into them.

Killowag appears and gives a sucker punch to the Big Daddy and then call his friends to finally take the Big Daddy menace down once and for all but all hope is not lost because Big Daddy calls in his friend Bro Daddy to help him out!

Will this be the end of Big Daddy and Bro Daddy? Well, that's for you figure, personally I got my money on the Maxx beating them all!

Big Daddy is a fantastic toy, that I urge you to own as either a Bioshock fan, or just a toy fan in general. The best way to own this toy is of course going to your local toy store and hoping to find one or troll eBay and Amazon and hope even harder for a good price because trust me the toy is that fantastic!
