Shocker: new Evangelion prize figures announced
If there are three things you can count on in life, it's death, taxes, and Evangelion prize figures. Without even looking, I kind of guessed what we'd see: the pilots (minus Shinji and Kaworu because nobody cares about boy pilots) and probably EVA-01. Turns out I was right on the money! This batch of figures is by Sega and will be coming out toward the end of the year. Mari and Rei will be available in October, Zeruel and EVA-01 are set for November, and Asuka will wait all by her lonesome until December. Look, I'm the biggest Eva fan in the world but even I think the female pilots and EVA-01 are wearing a little thin. Seeing Zeruel is pretty cool, though. The fact that there are so few Angel toys out there is astounding - they're some of the coolest and most original monster designs in anime. [via figsoku] Did you know?
