It seems to me that lately toy artists have been dipping their toes into the gaming ocean more often as of late, first with Shawnimals' stellar DS title Ninjatown and then with Dylan Sisson's Yipe!5 and the Crappy Cat flash game. I'm so glad to see this, because I've long thought that some of the characters of the designer vinyl world would be right at home in their own games.
Imagine my delight, then, to get word that there is a new Ninjatown game on the way! Called Trees of Doom, this iPhone offering will be out later this Spring and allows you to play the role of the Wee Ninja as he climbs trees in an effort to impress the Master. It will retail for $1.99. If you want to keep an eye on it, you can do so at the game's official Facebook page.Toys in the gaming world -- it's a wonderful thing!
