While exploring around the corners of the Mezco booth, we stumbled upon this lovely gallery of custom figures on display that we thought you might enjoy seeing. All these customs are based on the original Mez-Itz form, which you may already be familiar with thanks to Rio's previous post about the awesome Hellboy

You can't help but get your own ideas about what kind of customs you could do if you were able to get your hands on your own Mez-Its form -- especially if you happen to be handy with such tricks of the trade as Sculpey. Do you have any personal favorites in the gallery?

Meet Davidkraig at Kidrobot NY's May 18 customizing event

Want to come check out some live customizing and meet artist Davidkraig? If you're in New York City, you can do that on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince St., SoHo, Manhattan).  As for what he'll be working on ... I'm not too sure. But you've seen his work before, and I assume he'll be sculpting out/painting something just as impressive for the event.
