SDCC 2012: Square Enix Play Arts Kai (Part 4)Square Enix's Play Arts Kai line has been growing by leaps and bounds, it seems, and that includes the Street Fighter Play Arts Kai line. In addition to the four second-player versions of Chun Li, Ryu, Cammy and Akuma, the line will be adding Guile (with his Sonic Boom effect) and Ibuki to the line-up. I'm not a big fan of either character, but the sculpts look good in unpainted form, especially Ibuki. Hopefully, we'll be able to announce someone like Sagat or M. Bison in the near future ... at least that's what I'm hoping for! On the Batman front, we got a little peek at some of the new figures coming out over the next few months. Those include Catwoman, Batman and Robin, all from Arkham City, with Catwoman in particular looking quite spectacular and Batman ... well, looking a lot like the Arkham Asylum one, with a new alternate head and other visual tweaks. The big news, though, is that Square Enix is adding the older Batman from The Dark Knight Returns to the Play Arts Kai line-up. Technically, it's supposed to just be the skin from Arkham City, but it's still awesome to see the big, beefy sculpt that makes Dark Knight Returns Batman look as intimidating as he should.
