SDCC 2012: Sideshow Collectibles - Remains of the WeekendAfter an exhaustive search through everything Sideshow has to offer, we're finally at the end. What lies in wait in this gallery is plenty of G.I. Joe and some classic movie horror and cheese. What's impressive in this lot is definitely the new statues of Freddy Kreuger, what has come to be through the magic of cosmetic surgery an immortal Elvira, Vampirella, and Lady Death. G.I. Joe has been tremendously made better through Sideshow. The series was originally built upon 12" action figures and Sideshow has really improved them past the point of kung-fu grip. The newest additions to the series, Baroness and Major Blood, are exquisite in their detail. I haven't bought a G.I. Joe figure since 1994, but I think I just might break that streak with the new Baroness. I would also be remissed if I didn't mention Snake Eyes. I don't really want to talk about Snake Eyes but rather his companion, Timber. The wolf itself is fully articulated. Finally, an articulated member of the canine family that you won't be ashamed to have. If you'd like to check out everything that Sideshow had in store for the Joes and others, check out the gallery below. Did you know?
