SDCC 2012: Rotofugi/Squibbles InkRotofugi, sharing a booth with close partners Squibbles Ink once again, announced all of their SDCC exclusives ahead of time, so there wasn't much in the way of surprises. You had your Bubble Gumdrops and your Grim Marshalls and your custom Eyezons alongside the Lady Darknesses and Kaiju Negoras The lone piece we didn't mention? That would be Tim Biskup's Helper Dragon bronze statuette (5 pieces, US$2,700 each), based on the second-generation mold of the Helper Dragon piece. The mold used for the Roto-a-Matic machine is the third-generation mold, in case you were wondering, and some of the differences include a leg that's been moved (it was catching on the machine and not separating properly with a larger size (the wax figures are about 80 percent the size of the bronze). Check out our gallery for some shots of everything new at the booth and let us know if you find a favorite! Did you know?
