SDCC 2012: Mattel (Monster High, Ghostbusters and more!)Mattel had quite the showing with their other properties, including Monster High, Ghostbusters and much more. We'll start with Monster High which showed Scarah Screams and Hoodude Voodoo. Scarah was the SDCC exclusive doll this year, and I'm sure she sold out quickly. They also showed Headless Headmistress Bloodgood, which will be exclusively at Toys 'R' Us in the spring of 2013. On Friday and Saturday they revealed Catrine DeMew (who I must get my hands on) as a Walmart exclusive, as well as Super Hero version of Spectra Vondergeist and Clawdeen Wolf which will be Target exclusives in 2013. Ghostbusters had their SDCC exclusive Zuul along with several other showings, including new items mentioned in the Mattypalooza panel. Cars had their SDCC exclusive, as well as several other cars that were from the movies that are finding their way into the toy world. They had the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo that comes in its own cool box. They also had some new 20th anniversary Power Rangers Hot Wheels cars that I definitely want to find. There were also Voltron toys, and numerous others to be seen, so be sure to check out the gallery to see just what all is already in stores, or will be coming soon! Did you know?
