SDCC 2012: Mattel brings the WWE in your house photo

Wrestling is enjoyed by many of us here at Tomopop. We even go to Wrestlemania to mark out together. We'll do the same thing here as Mattel debuted what they have in store for the upcoming year, and let's just say that we'll have to pool together to get everything we want.

For the highlights, the Macho Man is getting lots of love here as he should. Not only does he have a Brawlin Buddy, but he will have an Elite figure release in his nWo outfit. This release will be exclusive to Ringside Collectibles, along with Diesel, which does come with the WWF "winged eagle" Championship Belt. Other highlights include Kevin Nash in his Outsiders attire featuring the nWo WCW WHC Belt, C.M. Punk with the "Best in the World" shirt, a two-pack of Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler, and my most anticipated figure of the bunch, Ricardo Rodriguez.

That isn't all though as Mattel has plenty to tempt you with. There are two new playsets, the WWE RAW stage set not to mention the massive The Hell in the (TV-PG) Cell set. As mentioned previously, Brawlin Buddies have made a comeback with the Ultimate Warrior, John Cena, Randy Orton and Rey Mysterio. In addition, the mini Brawler figures are continuing on, now with the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay.

Later today, Mattel will hold their WWE panel where more announcements will be made. C.M. Punk probably won't crash the panel like last time, but Brian will be there nonetheless. As you can tell, there's a ton to go over here as Triple H always goes over, so check out the gallery to see everything that Mattel and the WWE have to offer.

Meet Davidkraig at Kidrobot NY's May 18 customizing event

Want to come check out some live customizing and meet artist Davidkraig? If you're in New York City, you can do that on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince St., SoHo, Manhattan).  As for what he'll be working on ... I'm not too sure. But you've seen his work before, and I assume he'll be sculpting out/painting something just as impressive for the event.

Shizuoka Hobby Show: new Gundam High Grade kits

Shizuoka Hobby Show: Master Grade Gundam 3.0

It was just announced yesterday and I wasn't thrilled by the news. It's just what feels like Master Grade Gundam #47. There's a reason why it was made though and Bandai had to prove that today. With what looks like a 1/100 sc...

Sculptor tryouts and other tidbits from Mamitan's AMA

Martin alerted us all to Mamitan's plan to do an Ask Me Anything on Reddit. I didn't think I'd be able to make it, but Mamitan delayed it by half an hour so I was able to get in on the action. It's over now, and there was a lot of good information divulged. Mamitan said she'll return later to answer more questions, but for now you can see a summary of the thread after the jump.
