One of the nice things about huge conventions like SDCC is that there are booths you already know you are excited for but there are also ones that pop up as you turn the corner and you instantly know that you must pay them a visit. Awkward Animal was one of the latter. Stocked with plushes, shirts, and accessories of their adorably awkward critters, this booth was definitely a nice surprise. Even if you didn't end up buying anything from the booth, you were still offered paper craft interactions on how to make likeness of their characters. Yes, I ended up with several of those.

If you missed the convention, you can still order the plushes from their website. My personal favorite is Awkward Panda. He can be stood on his head or his side and looks ever so helpless! All of them are great, though, and I'm sure that there is one that suits every person, if they'd be willing to look.
