SDCC 2011: Mezco Toyz' Thundercats statues

While Mezco Toyz had quite a few things on display at their San Diego Comic Con booth, one thing in particular stood out to me. Or rather, make that two things: their Lion-O and Mumm-Ra statues! These two are quite large (I'd say maybe 1/6-scale at the 18-20" heights both had) and aren't just really well detailed, but resemble their 1980s cartoon counterparts to perfection. Lion-O is articulated while I'm not so sure about Mumm-Ra, but with a post like that, do you want to change it?

Lion-O is out right now if you really like the look of this figure, having been released at the convention and on Mezco's shop for US$38. Mumm-Ra isn't coming until 2012, but really, I can't wait. What do you think of these two, Tomopeeps?

Mummra's face is a little bit off but otherwise he looks great.

The Mezco stuff doesn't look as good as the ones being put out by Icon Heroes (?). Then again, the only Icon Heroes one I'm planning on getting so far has been the Jackalman.

Prepare for the zombie apocalypse with Mega-Death Mittens

Mezco's Gillman may swamp your world

Mezco to sell b&w Frankenstein variants at NYCC

Mezco will be selling a black & white variant of their 9-inch Frankenstein (or Frankenstein's monster, if you prefer; although as Dr. Frankenstein's "son" he would have his dad's last name, right?) at NYCC this year. This...
