SDCC 2010: Mattel's DC Universe Classics Overview photo

Mattel's DC Universe Classics line is extremely hot right now, and judging by the products shown off at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, there is little chance of things cooling down anytime soon.

In addition to reveal of Wave 16 (featuring a PERFECT classic Robin and a Collect-and Connect Bane), Mattel also revealed a new sister line; Green Lantern Classics, full of fan favorites from the history of the Corps including Kyle Raynor, Black Hand, and a Collect and Connect Arkillo.

If all of that wasn't enough, Mattel also announced and showed off part of a new 12-figure Legion of Superheroes containing, among others, Superboy, Saturn Girl, and even Matter-Eater Lad! Check out all these and more in the gallery.

Oh, and I would sell a kidney to get that Hall of Justice backdrop. Seriously.

MOAR SDCC:

Legacy Comments

Oh, thanks. I hadn't seen the Mattel/DC announces yet. The LOSH reveal is a total surprise, hadn't even heard rumors about that. However, what's up with some of the figure sizes? That Bane looks tiny, especially for a CNC. And Arkillo looks even more off Oo I'm guessing it's just a smaller demo for show? Really confused me at first glance, since it threw off my perception of the size of everything else in there. Meh, too many items I want.

That Hall of Justice is pretty sick. I wonder if Parasite's inclusion means he'll be getting a re-release into the actual DCUC line.
I did a double take as well when I first saw Bane as well. He's actually in scale with the normal figures. The ones surrounding him are "two-ups" or two times production size. Working larger makes the sculpting easier.
Id steal and then sell youre kidney for the Hall Of Justice and a Starman fig, hey its hard to get
