SDCC 2010: Mattel's DC Comics Product overview photo

Chris Hansbrough is the new Green Lantern of space sector 2814. Deal with it.

Believe it or not, Mattel's DCUC and JLU lines weren't all the DC product the company had to show off at this year's DCUC. In addition to a slew of new Batman: The Brave and the Bold figures, and several new character additions to the fantastic Retro Action line (Guy Gardner!), Mattel revealed their brand new "Action League" of 2.5" mini figures.

What are you waiting for? Check out the gallery to see all the awesome for yourself!

Legacy Comments

Way back when they started making the STAR WARS playskool (Pre-Galactice Heroes) line i fell in love with these miniature figures and now that other companies have gotten on board and started producing lines with this dynamic I couldnt be happier.
Cant wait to get mini Bizarro, Firestorm and all the Lanterns!
Huh? The Action League itself isn't new, it's going on maybe 2 or 3 years at this point (not sure what franchise was the first to do this, but these kinds of things have been around quite a while =x). I half thought they had done away with it because it doesn't sell well and ends up on discounted often.

And fuck yeah, Retro Action Darkseid! Can't wait to see the official pics of him. Martian looks awful, though. They shouldn't do cloth for bareskinned portions. Also, where's his cape? >_> Plus I dislike how some of the characters don't look too burly, although I understand it's more in keeping with the MEGOs or whatever. Really not sold on the line at all, though, between the price tag, general design, scale, and the fact I don't really collect items of this type.
Oh yeah, speaking of other Mattel/DC items, what's going on with the DCIH line?
